SD Card Speeds....

What is currently the fastest card available?

I'm using a Canon 1000d and having isues when my cam will just show 'BUSY' on the screen while writing to the card... especially on fashion shoots where I'm firing off many shorts after one another.

I currently have class 4 cards, 2gb, 4gb and 8gb... I'd be happier going for a lower capacity card if it was faster!

Peter,

Card speeds aren't going to give you too much improvement I'm afraid. The real issue is that the 1000D has a very small buffer, 5 RAW images, when compared to something like the 1DMkIV with a 30 shot buffer.
UDMA cards might help a little but it's not going to be a jaw dropping improvement.
