Yes
I have a 550D and currently use 2 san disk extreme 16gb cards.
In about a month im off to china for 3 weeks and want to get some extra cards as im travelling without a computer and want to make sure i can swap them out of my camera often enough and also have enough space.
I was looking on Amazon but they have plenty of bad reviews about the wrong cards being sent mine are currently 45MB/s. Not sure if that is the correct speed.
So where does anyone advice I should buy new ones from?

I fully recommend these. They work great within my 6D and perform atleast as well as the Sandisk Extreme cards (which I also own several of).

For some reason the link is not working for me and i think its a problem at my end rather than yours.

the link was to a Transcend 32GB Ultra High Speed SDHC Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card

personally i would check the prices in places like tesco or costco before buying from amazon. if your supplier is not directly amazon (i.e. a 3rd party seller on amazon) there is the very slight risk the card could be counterfeit.

I get Sandisk Extreme 45MB/s from MyMemory. No problems and decent prices.

I wouls always go for Sandisk, just in case.

I use 30MB/s ones even at airshows where I will be shooting in short bursts and not an issue.

Go to Amazon and search for "Transcend 32GB Ultra High Speed SDHC". The card is sold by and dispatched from Amazon directly, so will be legitimate. It is no worse in terms of build, quality and speed than the Sandisk's I use, but if you want to spend more on Sandisk, feel free to do so. These cards are very highly rated both Amazon UK, Amazon.com, and US photography sites.

Just do not use e-bay because majority of cards sold there are often smaller or slower (sometimes both) then advertised.
I am talking from my own bad experience :(

Thanks for the advice but everyone I have asked has said to stick with sandisk so I think im just going to get more of what I already have.

There are plenty of fake memory cards around, and probably more Sandisk fakes than Transcend. Your case seems exceptional given that you aquired the CF card directly from Amazon, but atleast Amazo can be trusted to replace fake goods without question. Sandisk and Transcend products cannot really be blamed.
