I am looking for a SDHC card (about 8GB) for 1Ds mkII.

What is the lowest speed / rating to allow fast enough writing of images? I tried an old generic 2Gb one and it took absolutely ages to write anything.

Should I only go for Sandisk Extreme or will Transcend class 10 do. Is it a better idea to go for eyefi pro, considering it double as a wireless file transfer?

This SD Performance Database from Rob Galbraith's site may help, though it may be a few years old, it will give you an idea of how fast some cards can transfer data.

When I was looking for a CF/SD combo for my D300 I went for the Sandisk Extremes. The SD will always be the slower card, but just for backup the Extreme seemed the best without going to the top of the ranges of memory cards.

I have a couple of transcend 8gb class 10's, excellent performance, no problems so far :)
In fact I have a lot of transcend cards of various types, one of my preferred makes

How long does it roughly take to write a big RAW file with one of these? Can it sustain shooting RAW at 4fps?

Has anyone tried eyefi with 1Ds 2 here? How useful is it to have one?
