I like the composition but it seems a little soft on my monitor and the birds look a bit too far away to help the shot. Lovely exposure and nice colours though.

I see what you mean and have sharpened it up to see if it was better.

Selective sharpening would be better as youve made the birds look like sensor dust, way to much sharpening all over. Plus i'd lighten the shadows.

Where the focus point on that shot as it shouldnt be that soft, or was it manual focus?

If it were me, I would just loose the birds. Clone them out, or shoot when they were not in frame (best option).

I like the composition. The light could have been better, just personal choice though.
