Second day with new lens - Buzzard

Just a quick couple of shots grabbed out the car window before he flew off. Not bad but still not convinced its a big enough step up from the Canon 100-400L to warrant keeping or wait to try and save another £1500-£2000 and get the Canon 500 F4 IS. Will need to try both lenses side by side to see which one I'm keeping.

will take a bit of getting used too especially without IS, weather conditions not helping being so dull...........

Nice shots sir ,how do you focus on a shot like this and where on the Buzzard do you focus..(where abouts on the bird itself):)

The traditional method is to focus on the closest eye in wildlife and people photography.
