Im still unsure :shrug: looking at the white flash along his eye, but unsure if they have darker cheeks sedgies that is

A clear view of one for a change...they like hiding usually.

I think the high iso and crop factor have taken their toll on the quality a bit though.

I think it could be a sedge Dave, I just spent the morning photographing what I believe to be sedge warblers,(along with the KFs) and they look very similar.

agree about the noise and crop factor but still well done getting him if it is a sedge they are not easy to get I have yet to get one they just won t show enough for me the sedges I have seen stay quite low in some reeds at upton

Thanks Kaz, same here their always rummaging about in the undergrowth, with an occasional show at the top of ferns and reeds
