September Sky

My first crack at this sort of photography, motorsport is my normal area.

Taken on a 30 second exposure with a Nikon D50 and Sigma f2.8 at 70mm earlier on tonight with a slight tweek after. Any advice or hints would be appreciated.

Sorry for not replying sooner, but, ive just spotted a new button (unanswered posts) and im making good use of it...

So, it does nothing for me im afraid, apart from making me wonder if you had fallen over?

Nah seriously, weird sky colours, but the banding looks unnatural and almost as though its been converted to 4bit colour and dithered... It will probably look better on a full size version and is an artifact of the resize.

I quite like it. I'd probably crop some of the sky to give it a slightly more panoramic composition.
