There are 2 numbers on my lens, which os the serial? One has letters other just has numbers...?
 
Canon lens ? If so the 6 digit that starts with letters is a date of manufacture code and tends to be on L glass only and the rear plate of the lens. The one that's just numbers is most like the serial, and tends to be on the barrel.
