Hi All
I am looking for some tips and advice when shooting junior football.
Is there a prefered position to set up shutter speeds metering modes Nikon d300s.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Mark.

Hi Mark, You will get plenty of good advice and tips on this site. You need to shoot from a low position and with a minimum shutter speed of 1/500th. I shoot either from the side line in-line with the 18 yard box or behind the goal line nearer to the corner flag. I tend now to shoot in manual mode.

Hi Mark

I've done a lot of junior football recently. Good advice about shooting from a low position - in fact, sit on the ground if you can!

You'll want to get close and use a long focal length if possible, depending on the age/height of the kids!

Also, at junior level goal celebrations are priceless!

Hope that helps.

Ben
