Shutter Count

I have uploaded images to Shutter Count and other various sites and each time my images do not register with them. I always shoot in jpeg. Does anybody know a reason for this.

Possibly your camera/processing software has not been set to include full exif on the saved photo ( or strips it out).

I do not use a processing software. Where in my camera would it give me details on exif

Should be there - try downloading Capture NX-D free from Nikon and open and save your photos from there, it should embed the exif for you.

Some shuttercount sites specify a small file. Have you set the camera to take small basic jpegs?

This site should deal with any file straight out of the camera, raw or jpeg:

I have used these sites and you general need an empty memory card formatted with a single file on it

The exif.regex.info site at least doesn't care where the file is. You can upload it from your computer, or even specify a URL.
