No, best bet is a 14-24 at around treble the price!

Edit - Having said that, I seem to recall it will work but still give the crop factor, I'm sure someone else will come and clarify, but it definitely doesn't give FF.

If it fits it'll be like looking down a tube. It wont cover the whole of the sensor so you'll have a picture surrounded by black.

it works quite well, keep it on fx and allow for a bit of corner shadow and its fine

A BIT of corner shadow?
I borrowed Yv's last year and stuck it on my D700. Results below.
I didn't try it in DX mode - there are plenty of shots taken using the 10-20 on DX bodies and it'll be just like that but probably with less MP.

You'll want the full frame Sigma 15-30 instead. Same focal length, in essence. Or a Nikon 18-35.

Isn't it closer to 5? A quick look at the manual suggests that it shoots images that measure 2,784px x 1,848 px (the same as a D700) which equates to 5144832px.
