I am going the way of M42 lenses for my Canon. I have several primes and have just picked up the above 2X/3X convertor (very cheap!). Problem is I don't know if I am using it the correct way round/up?
I have put on a pic of the way I THINK it should be used but not sure. The ring uppermost is the one that is ajustable, you turn the ring and a lens moves up and down (backwards/forwards) the other two are just empty tubes. I have tried it several ways but it dont seem to make much difference, and I must say I am not that immpressed by the results. Yes it brings the objects closer but IQ is not that good.
Has anyone any experience of this convertor? Any help would be appreciated.
