Sigma 10-20mm or the Tokin 11-16mm?

Tokina all the way!! My fave lens currently and rarely off my 40D.

Tokina 11-16mm here.

Expensive (nearly as expensive as the Canon), but the build quality is excellent, and its pin sharp wide open.

Quite hard to come buy though as not many places stock them (i got mine from Wilkinson Cameras)

Would u say it was a 100 pounds better than the sigma?

Simply put - Yes! for the sharpness and F2.8 throughout the range.

I heard it described not as a Ultra-Wide-Angle Zoom, but more of a series of Ultra Wide Angle Pimes, and i'm inclined to agree with that :)

That good, do u have any samples? Whats the colouring like on it, seen some examples compared to the sigma and the tokina is quite orange, but i guess this could be the camera being used?

I'll post some up later.

The only one at the moment i have is in my 365 from a few days ago.

Some examples of my shots using the beast here. Sharp as hell, great at f/2.8 and great throughout the entire range.

Tokina for me too. I had the Sigma and sold it, poor IQ and dodgy QC.
