Sigma 10-20mm softer on right side

I have recently purchased a Sigma 10-20mm 4/5.6 lens and I did a brick wall test.

I tested the following apertures 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22 on focal lengths of 10, 12, 14, 17, 20.

Using a tripod and shutter release cable.

The right side seems to be consistently softer than the left. The top right corner is especially soft.

Does anyone know if this is common for this lens and is it worth getting a replacement?

If its new and you are unsure just get it replaced

I tried one but it was to soft for me, as above change it and see, sent my 50mm for calibration came back a different lens, maybe a option.

With the test shot you've posted at f/5.6 I'd be tempted to send it back for replacement.

I have the same model of lens (bought privately secondhand), and whilst it does have a tendency to be soft on the left this is only really visible at very small apertures (f/22) that aren't relevant when using an UWA. If it's showing at everyday apertures you're never going to be happy with it. And it is a crackin' lens generally, just looks like you've got a bad copy.
