Sigma 12-24 shots!

Hi all,

Anybody else got one of these?

I just picked one up today and am quite impressed with it so far.

What body are you using yours with?

What's your best shot from your 12-24?

Snap... I just bought one of these as well, although I'm waiting for it to be delivered.

Will be using mine on a 1D MKIIn so I'll await some shots with interest

I had one, but only used about 5 times and so I put it on here to sell. The buyer wanted some test shots. I took the shot below, then post processed it. I'm kind of sad now, but I know the lens will got to a good home ..

Yup... Bought one on here just before Christmas. Using it on a 5Dmk2. Not had much time to play with it (certainly no photos to post ) but I'm very impressed so far.

Not used mine much either. Bought it after selling my Pentax 12-24mm for twice what the Sigma cost me. Not a lens I us much at all so it made sense to go for a cheaper option.

I have very few photos on FlickR so even fewer taken with the Sigma 12-24. This is pretty much the only one, handheld, single handed. AFAIK, the EXIF is intact - if not, I should be able to find the original file and get it from there.

As mentioned in another thread I did have a second hand 12-24 but got some rather extreme softness down the right side of some shots. As a result I traded it in for a different lens. This lens are very minimal barrel distortion too.

Here are a few of the more decent shots I got with it, all taken on a 5D MKII
