Can someone tell me if this lens has a micro adjustment on it and if so where the heck do I find it:shrug:

Could my lens be front or rear focussing as suggested to me ? if so how do I right it please.:help:
 
Micro Adjustment is a function on the camera not the lens, and the 450D doesn't have it. But I should stop fretting about that at the moment as I suspect your problems lie elsewhere.
 
Not fretting, just trying to better myself with some help and have been asked if it can micro adjust, realise it was the camera now so at least I have learnt something today.:shrug:
 
You can send it to Sigma and they can adjust it for you using special software.

Front and back focusing is quite common for Sigma lenses, unfortunately (I do not say that this is for sure the case with your lens mind you!!!)

A lot of people get quite paranoid about front and back focusing, when I suspect technique is as much at fault. Sharpen your technique and you will sharpen your pictures.

It was just that it was suggested to me as I am having trouble with the lens and as it is still under warranty (I think) I would have liked to have got it sorted.
