sigma 120-400

hi guys was looking at this lens to use at race events ect has anyone had a go with this lens? looking to use it with my nikon d40 untill i can fund a new body

Sorry I dont have any personal experience of this lens but if you do a search above for 120-400mm there are quite a few threads already about it.

sorry if this question has been asked but what lens would peaple use if there aiming on doing motorcross and rally shots as most peeps have said this lens its quite bad in low light

and again soz if this has been asked

You can get quite close to the action in rallying and MotoX, so something like the sigma 70-200mm f2.8 might be more suitable.
