Sigma 170-500 apo dg

Does anyone have any knowledge of this lens and would it be compatible with a nikon d60, auto focus etc.

I have one its a great lens, AF works great although I use Canon but should be just the same with the dark side

i have that lens myself and it's a fairly good 1 although TBH it's very rare i use it 1 point to consider it's rear focusing so the focus ring is at the mount end of the lens.

Thanks for the replies. No AF with D60 makes it a no go for me, unfortunatley

will only autofocus if lens has HSM(hypersonicmotor) for D40/40x/60

if you need auto focus there's a 50-500 and a 150-500.

I don't think the 170-500 is too heavy, I was pretty surprised as I expected it to be heavier. I girl friend bought me a 2nd hand one a few weeks ago.
