Hi Guys,
I'm helping out by shooting all the events at a friends Indian wedding bar the main wedding event itself. I'm going to be shooting with my Canon 40D and a pair of Yongnuo 568 flashes (one on a stand if required). I was originally planning to use my Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (non VC), but after a lot of field testing I'm not overly impressed with the autofocus speed of the lens itself. I was considering the Sigma 18-35mm which may be short in length (56mm on FF) but has that extra stop as well. I'd probably bring along a 60, 100 or 135mm lens with as well, once I've reviewed all the venues (there are 3) for the most suitable focal length.
Has anyone shot a wedding with the Sigma and have any comments?
