Hi

I've purchased a Sigma 24-70 2.8, which has a rather wide lens diameter of 82mm. I need to upgrade my lee filter adaptor. Has anyone had any experience with vignetting with the Lee 82mm adaptor ring or would it be more prudent to go for the wide angle adaptor to avoid the vignetting?

Thanks

Fwiw, I have a 24-85vr nikkor and use a 72mm WA adaptor with my lee holder. The edges are still a bit dark@24 mm. I think it's just that the lens is looking through south of the filter rather than it being a function of the adaptor. Saying that I always buy the WA version. Why are they twice the price of the standard?

Thanks for the feedback. R you using a full frame camera? I forgot to mention I'm using a 60D, which is a 1.6 crop.

You're right about the price, typical lee, ripping you off!
