Hi all :wave:

Been offered one from a chappy at work.
So I need to know if
a) £70 is a good price
b) will I lose much image quality (I know I lose 2 stops).

It's a good price, depending on cond.

You wont really loose much quality it's mainly the speed. Depends on what your going to be using it with, if your x'ing 5.6 x 2 then thats a slooow lens.

I only got a 1.4 as it's not slow when I convert my 150mm f2.8 into a 210 f4.

uality wont drop and you may still be suprised by the speed of the AF, there is a diffenerce with some lenses but nothing massive

I'll be using with my Sigma 70-200mm F2.8
 
AF speed is still good with that combo despite what people say, tried and tested a while back with decent results
 
Cheers whitey. Forgot to add, he says it's minty. Boxed with end caps and case etc.

The 2xTC new price is £172 on Camera Price Buster - so £70 seems a very good price :thumbs:

Got the TC from him today.
Haven't had a play yet, I will in the day though today :woot:
