Sigma 300 f4

I've found a used sigma 300f4 apo and would like to know if anybody's used one. Are they any good?

Not a bad lens - but only if you are happy shooting at F4.

These older sigma lenses do not work correctly on Canon digital cameras, specifically you cannot select an aperture narrower than it's wide open F4.
