Sigma 70-300 not working

I wonder if anyone can help me I've got a Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG macro lens and just recently it has stopped focusing. The lens is about 4yrs old and hasn't been used much since I got a Nikon 80-400mm. When I look through the viewfinder I can see the shutter speed, but not the aperture. I can't even focus the lens in manual mode.

Does anyone know what the fault is likely to be and if this is repairable, if so by whom and how much is it likely to cost.

Both my Nikon lenses work fine on my D80.

Sigma have set rates for different lenses. The 70-300mm is £75 plus however much it costs to send it in (for anything but a basic check/repair)

Only you can decide if its worthwhile ...
