sigma lens front focusing

hi all,
i own a canon rebel T4i(650d). i recently bough off ebay a 'sigma 50-150mm f2 8 ex dc hsm ii'. the problem i am having, is that the lens is front focusing. is it posible that the lens chip does not match my camera? how can i test it, to find the cause of the fault???

It's sounds like a simple calibration issue and nothing to do with compatibility. Your 650d doesn't have the option to adjust the lens calibration to the body so it'll probably require a trip to Sigma. You could try focussing using Liveview just to confirm things.
