sigma lens - lock will not come off?

hello all,
i have a sigma lens
28-300
and i can't get the lens lock to come off

is this a comon problem?

is there fix?

please help

drop sigma a line or email theyre normally very helpful

Try to change to manual focus and then turn the focus ring to infinity.
Then try to unlock the lens.

If it does not work try turning the focus ring all the way to the other end and then trying the lock button again.

Might not work but worth a go

well - its 1/2 working now
i can pull the lens in and out
and it will auto focus

but the zoom ring will not move the zoom in and out :-(
