Hello,
It's me again with another maybe dump question.
I have a huge Sigma Art and Sports line up.
I'm coming from a Canon mount Cinema cameras to Sony mirrorless Using the MC11 adapter.

When I'm using some of my heavy lenses like the Sigma 70-200 or 24-35 I feel like if I don't hold the camera from the lens that I will break the mount of the camera or the mount of the adapter.

Any positive or negative experiences?

Thanks :)

I am sure you will if you put enough force on it and whatever the weakest link will break.

However it will be beyond the gravitational force of the weight of the camera. It will require a blunt impact like dropping it.

I have used bigger lenses than the ones you mentioned on adapter (albeit not mc-11). It will be fine.

besides with such heavy lenses you will have to support the lens anyway while shooting, you'll hardly be able to one hand it.

I use the Canon 200mm f/2.8L and the Sigma 150-600 on my A7III with an MC-11 with no issues.
