Silver studded blue butterfly...I think

Been trying out my new 200mm, love the bokeh on this thing. First time I've tried a butterfly shot so it would be great to hear peoples C&C on this. Would also be great if any resident butterfly experts can either confirm or correct my 5 min google identification of the species.

Can help with the ID but i think it could benefit from a crop, to remove some of the dead space on the l/h side - which would also remove the light area on the bottom left corner - the flicker appears to be the same size

I think its a common blue, but again i am no expert.

Thats a good shot, as said maybe a little crop to remove some dead space etc.

Dogfish, I think you're right it could do with a little crop. Here's a slightly tighter crop which removes the bright spot in the corner:



eeverson you could well be right, it does look like a common blue, like I said I'm far from an expert. It's a shame I didn't get a shot of it's wings open.
