Silverstone Info Wanted ....

Do you mean the best places to avoid the fence or are you one of the lucky ******* that can get inside the fence ????

Assuming you have the fence between you and the track...

Do you know which circuit they are using?

There arent many places either way.

If GP, the first part of the complex just past Bridge is good. If the National or International circuits the corner after Stowe is good.

Everywhere else the fences effectively prohibit shooting.

If you are inside the fence, Im gonna mug you for your pass...

Im going tomorrow, and I believe they are using the GP circuit.

Silverstone outside the fence - ummm Luffield for me as you can see over the fence or the inside at Becketts with lens through fence.
On National then the whole straight and you can get a bit of greenery in the background.
On the longer circuits then Farm - inside or out and on the International right down at Stowe and Abbey

oh and if you are going this Saturday then can I have pics of the Jaguar XJ-Ss, the blue one number 48?

I bought some tickets off a guy on Ebay last year, and we went one September day for a practise day I think it was. But there was the touring car championships on :)thinking: Can't really remember to be honest, cars bore the cr&p out of me, it was more for his birthday than anything), the tickets we got we access all areas, and we had permission to go down next to the track, I couldn't though as it was too far for me to walk, so we ended up parking in the little car park on the hill, it was easy enough to get shots from up there without the fence in the way.

He does cheap tickets now and again, and the ones we had that day cost up £9 each.
This is his Ebay store (although he doesn't have anything on there at the moment)

And this is their website: http://www.justgoldhospitality.co.uk/

Hope some of that helps, if not just laugh at me  I don't mind.
