Stunning set - #1 is superb - well frozen and great composition.

Colours in all are great, sharpness too!

#1 though for me, terrific!

Excellent set Matty - thanks for sharing. No 1 is a cracker

Hi Matty.

I was wondering what had happened to you over the past couple of weeks.

Lovely set of pictures especially capturing the motion in the sunbird and the glorious colours in the auriole and kingfisher. I bet you didn't lug your 600 all the way to Singapore but whichever lens you used the results are splendid.

I have been really impressed with starlings on my travels; both the glossy starling (and the superb starlings in Kenya) are beautifully coloured if you can get the light in the right position.

Hi Ken,
I dare not take the 600 as it was very borderline on weight and in that heat i think it would have killed me. I hired a 70-200 F2.8 and a 300mm F2.8 which is an awesome lens. The glossy was really beautiful, You would have loved it there. Also got a Magpie Robin, Scarlet flower picker, Bulbuls and Little and Purple Heron. It was a shame to have to come back really.
