Singing his heart out!

I was out early this morning bird-bothering again, got a few nice shots but this little guy was my favourite. Not a very natural perch I know but he was singing at the top of his lungs and made me smile

The birds were at full belt in my garden this morning, but got a bit drowned out by the chain saw as my neighbours tree was pruned!

Thats a nice shot and different to get one singing . I love to hear robins singing. In fact I just love robins

Nice effort Lauren!

I actually like the perch, although you say it's not very natural, because of it's weathered, peeling paint. Also, some 'natural perches' on some threads were clearly once natural but appear frequently as the same props, which to me no longer any more natural.

I'd prefer to see the robin looking towards you, but you've captured it nicely IMHO whilst in full 'voice'

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm really starting to enjoy this bird stuff. The only downside is that I've started to think maybe I need a better telephoto lens, dangerous thoughts

Nice capture Lauren, I just get hounded by our Robin each time I open my front door The pic looks ok but you will find a slight adjustment in Photobucket will usualy be needed prior to posting.
