Skin smoothing plug in (help)

Hi I am after a skin smoothing plugin for photoshopt cs3, but i dont know where to look as i dont know what its actually called.

(i would like it free if possible but knowing my luck i doubt it will be)

anyone shed any light on what im after?

free but not a plugin. try to write a script to automate the process then it's might as well be a plugin

I've got Kodak gem airbrush pluggin now thanks seems to be pretty good.

Portrait Professional is pretty good if you turn off the sculpting feature. Hard to beat for a "quick and dirty" job.

I like that quick and dirty haha sounds about right for the models we shoot

i use portraiture plugin on cs4 and u get some excellent results tried portrait professional and its not a patch on portraiture...plus its very quick and easy to use

If you look through the channels most skin blemishes occur in the blue and green. If you copy and past the red channel then change the blending mode from 'normal' to 'luminance' you'll end up with a mostly unblemished porceline look. Then you can adjust the capacity to bring some reality back to the shot...
