Yes
Being a tight yorkshireman I eeeek every drop out of a tank of motion lotion - in my case diesel so here's a gauntlet

Can't get anywhere near, but then I have usually got 9 or 10 bags of cement in the back of my Felicia pick-up.

I went from a 3.0 V6 Camry that would do 20mpg if I was careful around town to a 2.0 Diesel that does 50mpg on the same short journeys without me trying so I'm more than happy with that...and the tax is cheaper.

I get 29mpg from my vRS Diesel it says it good for 49 on combined... My ar5e!!!! :)

Never tried to work it out, I get about 340miles out of £40 of petrol at about .94/litre ?

Averaged 59mpg this year, which i dont think is too bad for a car the size of the mk3 mondeo, considering i normally have a boot full.

(oh that caluated i havent an onboard mpg thingy)

LOL gordon brown is more trust worthy than a mpg readout on a car dash board

Your right there, when I worked mine out properly over a few months it went down to about 73 Mpg :)

Did I forget to mention the £35 a year car tax I have to pay

Sorry no where near i am at the other end getting around 12 mpg but i did manage to squeeze 19mpg on a run to South of France....... time for a diesel me thinks.

I'm not exactly sure what i get, but it's probably about 35mpg from my 1.6 Seat Leon

It's slightly depressing that it now costs £50 to fill it!

52 from a vectra 1.9 diesel

i hammer my v6 too much. god only knows what i get to the gallon, but i can almost see the petrol gauge going down.
the scarey thing is i'm considering getting a 5.7 V8 van. i'm def stupid

until recently my wife had a 1.2 LPG nissan micra. that was quite cheap to run, although not as cheap as you thinkg. LPG isnt as efficient as petrol, and the MPG changes depending on summer or winter

We average mid 40's on our Audi A6 diesel and mid 60's on the Smart. Bloke at the pool has a diesel version of the Smart that he got imported from France and reckons he is getting 80+ :O

39 mpg in winter upto 44 mpg in summer and that is from a 2.0 petrol Mondeo that is almost 10 yrs old and coming up for 210k miles on the clock.
If I drop the clutch and let it freewheel the computer will show 99mpg. Beat that.:LOL:

my bike only averages 42to 46 mpg. but it is a tad quicker than most cars, and lots more fun.
some pillock in a 3.0 celica supra got realy embarressed when he couldnt beat me away from the lights. despite reving the nuts off it and squeeling the tyres. bwahahahaha.1997 yamaha sports tourer. ahahahaha.with full panniers.BWAHHAHAHA.
dont know what my escort does. fuel up when low. repeat as needed.:|
the MAN lorry i usualy drive averages(17 tonner , 250 horse 7.5 litre) about 11mpg. the 26 tonner i drive occasionaly (360 bhp 9 litres) averages 10.5mpg.the big units with trailers grossing 44 tonnes and 420 bhp average about 8.5 mpg.

In fifth gear going downhill, i get 999mpg

I often attempt to see how many miles i can get out of a tank. Shame this only lasts about a day as its far too much fun getting pushed back into my seat!!!

39 MPG average in my 1.8 Vectra :) & 32 MPG if I behave on my R6 Yamaha :(

I just calculated my MPG on my Seat Leon 1.6 and i get 25  It should be more like 35! Have i broken it, or is it just the way i drive? :D

I get about 30mpg out of my 2.2tdi Freelander. I ran out the other day! Guess when the range thing says 50 miles it means "fill up or get stuck at the office car park for the night". Not as good as the 55-60 I used to get from my 2.0 tdi A3, nor as fast! :(

well in my 2.9 v6 granada i put £20 in and got 68 miles normal driving out of it.. is that good or bad

(y)

Nice one!

Now I've only got one wing mirror (thanks the guy that can't drive on the right side of the road - T**T!) do you think I'll get more MPG out of my Nav?

if you take the other one off aswell to make it more aerodynamic you might just get that extra few miles
