Slains Castle Cruden bay

"This atmospheric ruined castle was originally built to replace Old Slains Castle, situated about six miles south-west of the present site, after it was destroyed in 1594. New Slains Castle was erected in 1597 on the site of the former Bowness Castle.

It is often said that the Slains gave Bram Stoker the inspiration
for Count Dracula’s castle while staying at nearby Cruden Bay in 1895"

I took these a little while ago while working near by.
BTW it was free to enter, which is always a bonus

Not sure about any of the processing TBH.
I always struggle with this type of thing,
so any feedback is always appreciated

Looks like an interesting place, but I feel the PP has ruined them somewhat.

They look over sharpened and the blacks have lost detail, too much contrast perhaps?
