what with all the drama of last weeks "strap bitch fest " 
I fancy the idea of using a sling. BUT Only one where it mount via a base plate through the tripod thread.
I saw a guy at the weekend using a sling but his allowed the camera lens to stick out. He must now regret it as i could hear the "crack" from 2 tables away as he got up and it swung out against a chair !
quality of attachment must be good .
