Im looking for a small replacement for my canon 5Dmk2 for when I go out and about and dont want to take the main camera. I was thinking about the Canon G5 as they dont seem to be all that expensive and the stats look good.

What other options are there for around the £80 mark.

I'd like something that does do Raw, would be great if it has a pretty wide end. I'd maybe pay up to 150 if I could find the right used camera.

Thanks in advance.

I still have a G5 which I bought in 2003. I've had mixed results with it. Whilst it has produced some excellent pictures, comparable to the 10D I also had at the time, it has also produced an equal amount of total crap. Focus was unpredictable, many shots being slightly out of focus when the camera had said otherwise. Focusing when zoomed in never works. Noise above 200 ISO was dire. I thought its replacement, an Ixus 700, would be an improvement. But I was wrong, and it was all downhill since then. Even the legendary Fuji F31 hasn't lived up to the hype.
