I didn't want to make my own thread, because i don't think im very good, but heres some shots i'd like to share for advice.

any tips would be great

You've certainly got imagination! But the way you execute needs work.

Personally ... this is PERSONALLY ... I don't like the out of focus hands one bit. It's more noticeable than the good in the picture, and that should be avoided. Try and make the purpose stand out more than anything else for sure.

The best shot by far is the last. Nice clean background, The focus is on the subject entirely, Perfect! It reminds me of an advertisement for George (Asda) And I'm sure that's a good thing

Would look better if the out of focus fingers were more in focus
Such a strong blur doesn't quite work for my eyes.

nowt as queer as folk

1 and 2 I like, almost like the baby's trying to stop you taking the photo. #3 I think would actually be better in landscape format. The fourth doesn't do much for me, too tall a composition

Like Dod ses. Tha's nowt as queer as folk.
If I had to choose then 4,2 work best out of your set for me. Tho both are not quite there on the crop front.

I dont like the fingers OOF in 1,3 at all.
