Smallest pouch possible for Canon 450d with 18-55mm lens

Helppppppppppp!!! I have been scouring the Internet for the ideal pouch for my canon camera with lens attached but I just can't seem to find what I am looking for so though some of you may be able to help.

I already have an over the shoulder carry pouch for my camera but I feel it is a bit bulky. I want one that is as small as possible so I can actually fit it in to my handbag (albeit a big handbag) rather than carrying it separately. At the same time, k would still like it to have a shoulder strap so the option to carry it on it's own is still there.

Anyone got any ideas? I know I'm probably being too fussy!

LowePro Rezo TLZ 10 is the smallest and lightest pouch I know of
 
To be honest this sounds like one of the few times that a (n)ever ready case would be what's called for. It's canon code EH19-L - it's the proper fitted case that is designed specifically for the 450D, just like cameras used to come with as standard when I was a lad, and all this around here was fields, and nostalgia was what it used to be :lol:
