Smallish Laptop

My sister wants a laptop and has asked me to look into it. She seems to want something reasonably small, similar in size to mine (13" XPS) which comes in pink or a similar bright colour and can play games like zoo tycoon (so not that powerful) as well as the usual internet, word etc.

So generally what she wants is something reasonably stylish (and I think well built) that can play the occasional old game that is reasonably small (<15" ideally). Budget of around £600-£800 ish (really an arbitrary one, a guess from me)

With that in mind I first looked at Dell and their 13" studio XPS range, as well as Sony's CW, CS and SR ranges. Any others I should be looking at or recommendations?

I'm erring on the side of a base model Studio XPS at the moment as if they are anything like my XPS they will be well built and good laptops and erring away from the Sonys (except possibly the SR range that looks a bit more metal and less plastic).

I've got a 12" netbook, Lenovo S12, prices go from £275 Intel chipset, XP home, Atom N270cpu 160gb HDD to £389 Nvidia Ion chipset Win7, Atom N270, 320gb HDD. The Ion chipset is faster but has shorter battery life, vice versa for the Intel.

Mine is the white Intel version and battery life is about 6 hours. In the few days I've had it, it's run a usb DTV dongle and ProgDVB, Open Office, web browser and my graphics software flawlessly. Open Office takes about 20 seconds to load on first run, 6 seconds after that.

Built in wireless network, Bluetooth, Mobile Broadband (you need a sim for it to work)

Only downside is no pink but you can buy decals for any laptop.

Steep, thanks for the suggestion but im really looking for something a bit more powerful and faster, not really a netbook. :)

Well it doesn't have to be pink, just not white or black, so something with a bit of girly colour. :D
