Smoke art And Plasma Domes

Just some experimental photos of mine form the last few days.

There seems to be some serious focus issues here :shrug: that last one particularly the first one seems very noisy, what were your settings for each of these?

Plasmas were done 5 secs exposure, F11. Smokes were F11, 1/25 second. Tried to use live view and Manual focusing for the plasma orbs

Did you use the zoom function on live view?? that will help you get the focus spot on with live view

i didn't, Thanks for the advice i will bear this in mind next time.

some of the issues maybe caused by myslef messing around with sliders on Windows Live Photo Gallery (probably a bad idea) but i dont have a working version of PS yet lol

For a nice easy to use bit of free software check out photoscape, it's very easy to use it must be as I use it

Thanks for that, had messed about with the live view zoom and never thought about using to aid with focus.
