took this shot earlier this year of a friend while he was smoking

used in monthly club competition and got a 2nd place with it this week

I like the compositin and the pic as a whole but I cant help being bothered by the fact that both his lapels are in focus.. but his face and hands arent .. or they are suffering from camera shake? :shrug:

I agree, but if he had been looking to the left (our right) and out of frame it would have changed the feel of the shot to something along the lines of introspection. I like the current "Dick Tracy" feel to the image, it's like you are under his scrutiny.
