Just wondering if anyone near to Accrington has a portable smoke machine I could borrow for free for a one of shoot? It needs to be used away from mains power in a rural location. Happy to pick up and drop off!

I know its a big ask but if you do it would be much appreciated!
 
How about some of those plumbers smoke pellets used for checking flues are clear. You light them with a match and the produce a loa of smoke for 3-4 mins. A couple of quid buys you a tube of 10 or more. Much more portable than a machine.
 
Check out paintballing supply etailers.. usually plenty of smoke cannisters available.
 
Yep, plumbers merchants. They are.... interesting..... to work with though :)

Get a wire mesh bird feeder to put the pellet in as you run through the woods to distribute the smoke :)
