Display teams both civilian and military were abundant at the Waddington Airshow this past weekend. I thought it might be nice to present of my photographs under this theme and post them in this thread.

We start with the most obvious one, the RAF Red Arrows. Photograhed in some awkward lighting over two days...

From the civilian side of the spectrum were the Breitling Jet Team. This team, based out of Dijon in France, fly L-39 Albatros aircraft in their striking blue and yellow colour scheme...

Thank you for the comments so far, hope this continues to be of some interest.

Representing the Air Force on France were their display team Patrouille de France. Alas, the French team could only make it to the Sunday of the event due to a prior engagement the day before...

The timing to get 7 in the first set is spectacular and then, just to rub it in, you do it again, with 3 in the 3rd set!

Excellent stuff. If I could emulate those when they (and others like the BoB flight, Vulcan and whole bunch more) are down here in Bournemouth in late August for the FREE air festival, I'll be well chuffed. Hopefully, I'll be making full use of my A700 and Sigma 100-300mm EX DG during that time (weather permitting).
