Critique Snails

I have possibly been looking at pictures on 1x, a little too much lately but i made a big effort to try and get a decent shot of a snail last weekend. I struggle to get the eye and shell in a focus position that i like and usually give up.
All comments appreciated the good the bad and the ugly.

Great work here. You can really see the thought you have put into these and I really like the bright background in the first and last. I think the second is my favourite though. I think I would prefer it if the subject was slightly bigger in frame but not so much as to drastically alter the compositions. Really nice work though.
