I have it on order and should be with me this week. Not sure if i want to load it now after all these issues!!

It's now 14/10/09 - Anyone had automatic updates from Apple yet?

Yes, a couple days ago. Now on 10.6.1.

Well whadd'ya know :|

I search for updates, the report reads 'Your software is up to date'

I visit the Apple support and there it is, a 10.6.1 update.

My Kubota plugins needed reactivating and my Epson 9900 was a bit of a sod to get going again. Other than that it's been ticketyboo.... so far.....

I've noticed that the screen brightness resets to maximum each time the imac is started

Hi,

One of my iMac's does this as well which is annoying when using it at night as it's like having a 500w floodlight blasting in your face!!! Not a problem when using the sleep mode, just from shutdown.

Mike.

my macbook was resetting to lowest brightness every time.
seems ok now

Odd and intermittent colour temp issue still remains after the update for me.

Switched over my Mac Mini (2009) to run 64 Bit and had all manner of problems. Bluetooth will no longer pick up my mouse or keyboard (both Apple) so had to put it back into 32Bit.

Not really had many other problems with SL but it does seem to take considerably longer to start up (2 minutes). Also having a lot of problems with Time Capsule although not sure if these are to do with SL as never had the TC with 10.5.6
