I ordered a D700 today hopefully it will be with me by next week. Bring on the full frame goodness. I now need to save up for some more decent glass.

Was so nervous spending so much on one piece of equipment.

Congratulations!

If you don't mind me asking, what camera do you currently have? If it's a Nikon DX, what made you decide to make the switch to FX? I just posted a thread asking what people thought about making the jump, I've been going back and forth about it for a year now!

I have a D90

One reason for the swap is I've been helping out on weddings and have found I need to push the iso up higher then the D90 can handle. Plus i have 3 weddings booked for next year so needed a 2nd body so thought it a good time to upgrade too!

I payed £1698 for the body and MB-D10 from HDEW. It's a grey import. But they give there own 3 year warrantee

Congratulations. Yep ! From here it gets expensive.
Better save for 24/28-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8

You're gonna love it though.
