So I met a die hard full frame fan

I have been hearing for some years that we will all be using full frame in 'X' years time - usually a figure between 3 & 5. Well crop cameras are still in use and still getting a lot of investment from the manufacturers and non of the prophecies have come true...

Each format has it's own benefits and I for one hope the be able to make that choice for myself for many years to come.

So why aren't you using a Hasselblad then? Or at least a 1Ds III?

"Cheaper" is a hu-u-u-uge advantage in the real world.

It is an advantage, I don't deny that and I have acknowledged that. But for me, that is the only advantage, i don't find the "extra reach" to be an advantage, not for what i use it for, this will be different for others who likes their zooms i am sure.

For me, FF is much better, bigger sensor allows for better ISO performance, it allows for thinner DoF, and i say again, cost aside.

I still find the crop focal length all up in the air depending if the camera is 1.3x or 1.6x. I just want 1x. :)
