Taken on a visit to France last month

I like it, a lot, although I feel it is not withouyt flaw. My biggest concern is the size of the "focal point", which in this case I guess is the sportsman. Due to the relatively small size, he is competing with the hills in the backdrop, which are lovely by the way

The sky is very good too.

he was actually smaller originally so enlarged him a touch, but i wanted it to look lonely as the beach was deserted and thats what i wanted to convey, funny though, if i turned around the beach was packed with sunbathers

Actually, Dave, I like this a lot, and am not bothered by the size of the wind-surfer. (Though everyone has an opinion, and Edinburgh Gary does some very nice work.) Love the way the cloud directly above him mimics the general shape and orientation of the surfer. Also love the contrasty, brilliant colors. Great shot!

I really like this too Dave. I think that the little guy in a big landscape works very well here and with that great sky and excellent colour you've fashioned a top shot. Well done.
