SOLVED! Help please! Canon RP not recording when connected to a device, but will when not.

Hi folks. I'm really stumped. I can't use my Canon RP on the Canon Camera Connect app because it says there's no card in camera, even though there is. The camera reads and writes to the card fine without the app. It used to work fine but just started coming up with this. I've tried two different cards, the app on both my tablet and phone, reinstalling the app, clearing the connection settings on the camera. It also won't record using Canon EOS Utility on PC because it says there needs to be a card in the camera.

Has anyone got any ideas, or encountered this issue? I need it for a YouTube video.
