Great shots,again. Were these taken at Upton Warren too ? How far from you are they ? I have some KF photos from Slimbridge,here in Glos. but the pair were nesting in a bank about 50 metres from the hide and even a 500mm prime was struggling to get near them. I think many people who haven't seen them first hand are surprised when they do get sight of one just how small they are.

Great photos once again Kaz, You are really nailing them Kingfishers. Have you seen that new book out, I think it's called Kingfisher, I saw it at Rutland Bird Fair and at Minsmere, It looks a great book with some killer photos from an obsessive Kingfisher photographer. Check it out

Killer shots......what distance shot at.what lens.......ect.....
They are real good and I'm very jealous
thank you I would say they are about 35ft away although may be a bit more not very good at distances
I used a canon 500f4 + 1.4 convertor
