Some recent & some old night sky pics

Hi folks,

Here's some of my attempts at the night sky, think I've a long way to improve and maybe a few camera restrictions to work around but slowly slowly.

Think this one was from the gopro, very impressed with it in the conditions.

I like your last shot looking North with the Church in the foreground. Very atmospheric. Shame about the airplane in the second shot they always appear when you least want them!

Was amazed how busy a flight path it was, feel I needed a stronger torch to light up the further bit of the scar too. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks. Set exposure to 30secs, ISO 800 and do get quite a bit out if it. Wasn't sure how it would work, was just a test really while I was out with the dslr. Get home, transfer pics to pc and run through starstax I think it's called, hey presto job done. 3 hours shooting and 2 min stack.
